API Import Manual Import

Last updated: · 4 min de lecture

Swissborg

SwissBorg is a Swiss wealth app rather than an order book. When you trade, it routes your order across a dozen venues to find the best price, so you see one clean exchange rather than a set of fills.

There is no key to create here. SwissBorg does not offer a public connection for personal accounts, so everything comes from an export you download yourself.

One thing to get right: the export comes in two formats and only one is usable. The PDF is a summary with totals. The Excel file has the actual transactions. Take the Excel file.

What you get out of the box

Exchanges between crypto assets and between crypto and cash
Earn yield paid on held balances
Bundles, where one purchase buys several assets at once
Alpha allocations from token pre-sales
Card cashback paid in BORG
Referral rewards
Deposits, withdrawals and their fees

Choisissez votre méthode d'import.

On SwissBorg

  1. Open your profile and choose Account Statement.
  2. Pick the period you need, the currency, and Excel as the format. The PDF is summarised and cannot be used to build a report.
  3. If your history spans several years, pull each period and keep them together.

On Kryptos

  1. Go to Kryptos.io and sign up with your Google account.
  2. From the menu, click Integrations.
  3. Click Add Integration and search for SwissBorg.
  4. Upload the files you exported. If your API key still works, Import using API Keys pulls everything in one go instead.
  5. Check the imported totals against your own records before the exchange goes, while you can still look something up.

Good to know

  • There is no key or live connection for personal accounts, so updates mean exporting again rather than syncing.
  • The PDF gives accumulated totals only. The Excel file is the one with transactions in it.
  • If you held the older CHSB token, your history will show both CHSB and BORG across the 2023 migration. They are the same holding.
  • Which products you can use varies by country, so Earn, Alpha and the card are not available everywhere.

Why the format you pick matters

SwissBorg offers two versions of the same statement, and the difference is not cosmetic.

The PDF is a summary. It has a handful of columns and gives you accumulated figures for the period. You cannot rebuild a tax report from it, because the individual transactions are not in there. The Excel file has roughly twice the columns and lists every movement.

People download the PDF because it looks like a statement, then wonder why the import produced almost nothing. Take the Excel file, and take it for every period you need, because without a live connection there is nothing to top it up later. For how yield and disposals are treated where you file, see the USA crypto tax guide or the UK crypto tax guide.

One action, several taxable legs

Buying a bundle acquires a basket of assets in a single tap, and selling disposes of all of them. One thing you did, several things your report has to account for.

Cashback that is income and a purchase at once

Card cashback arrives in BORG. That is income at the value it had that day, and it also starts a new holding of a volatile asset with its own cost.

Two names for one token

Histories spanning 2023 contain both CHSB and BORG for what is economically the same holding, because the token was renamed and swapped one for one.

Prêt pour l'audit, automatiquement.

Une fois vos wallets et plateformes connectés, générer un rapport fiscal ne prend qu'un clic. Ouvrez Rapports dans le menu, choisissez votre juridiction et téléchargez.

Yield is income when it arrives

Earn pays out on your held balance, and each payout is income at its value that day. The rate depends on your loyalty tier, so it cannot be worked out from a published number and has to come from the export.

A bundle is not one disposal

Selling a bundle disposes of every asset inside it. The report needs each leg, not the single action you took in the app.

Pre-sale allocations arrive below market

Alpha allocations are acquired at a private price rather than a market one, so the cost attached to them is what you paid, not what the token traded at afterwards.

The token rename was not a disposal

CHSB became BORG one for one. You did not sell anything, so the holding carries its original cost through the change.

Lecture seule par conception.

  • Create the key with read permission only, never withdrawal
  • A read-only key can see your history but can't move funds
  • Kryptos never asks for your password or login details
  • Revoke the key on the exchange at any time and the connection stops

Si la synchronisation échoue.

My export has almost nothing in it

You probably downloaded the PDF, which is a summary. Export again and choose Excel.

I see both CHSB and BORG

That is the 2023 token migration. Same holding, renamed one for one, and not a sale.

A product I use is not in my export

Product availability varies by country. Check the statement covers the period and the products you had access to.
