Simplex processes card purchases of crypto, almost always inside somebody else's exchange or wallet. It is now part of Nuvei and trades as Simplex by Nuvei, but the product still carries the Simplex name.
There is no history download. What there is, unusually, is a confirmation email detailed enough to reconstruct a purchase completely.
That makes Simplex one of the easier no-export services to account for, provided you kept the emails.
What you get out of the box
Choisissez votre méthode d'import.
On Simplex
- Search your email for the delivery confirmation Simplex sends after each purchase. It comes from their support address.
- Check the platform you bought through as well. Its deposit or order history shows the same purchase from the other side.
On Kryptos
- Log in to Kryptos.
- Go to Integrations.
- Click Add Integration, then search for and select Simplex.
- Click the Simplex icon and choose Upload CSV.
- Upload the file. Kryptos reads it and categorises the transactions for you.
Good to know
- The confirmation email carries the date, the amount of crypto, the amount you paid, the last four digits of your card and the destination address.
- You almost certainly used Simplex inside another platform rather than directly, so that platform has a matching record.
- There is no account history page to export.
An email that happens to be a complete record
Most services in this category leave you with almost nothing: a list on a screen, maybe a one-line receipt. Simplex is the exception, and it is worth knowing because it changes how much work reconstructing your history takes.
The confirmation email sent after each purchase contains the date, the exact amount of crypto delivered, the fiat amount charged, the last four digits of the card used and the destination wallet address. That is a complete account of a purchase. Nothing else is needed to establish what those coins cost you.
The destination address is the part that makes it genuinely useful rather than merely adequate. It lets you connect the payment to the wallet that received the crypto, which is exactly the link that usually goes missing. Coins turn up in a wallet with no explanation of where they came from or what was paid; this closes that gap.
So the instruction for Simplex is to search your email. If you bought through an exchange or wallet that embedded Simplex, that platform's own order history should show the same purchases and can be used to check nothing is missing. For how cost basis works where you file, see the USA crypto tax guide or the UK crypto tax guide.

Rebuilding a purchase from an email
The confirmation contains enough detail to establish exactly what you bought, when, for how much and where it went.
Matching against the platform you used
Because Simplex sits inside other services, that service's own history usually shows the same purchase and confirms it.
Establishing cost for coins with no origin
If crypto appeared in a wallet with no explanation, a Simplex receipt may be the missing purchase.
Prêt pour l'audit, automatiquement.
Une fois vos wallets et plateformes connectés, générer un rapport fiscal ne prend qu'un clic. Ouvrez Rapports dans le menu, choisissez votre juridiction et téléchargez.
The email is a complete record
It carries the date, the fiat paid, the crypto received and the destination address. That is everything needed to establish cost basis, which is more than most services of this kind provide.
Use the full amount charged
The figure that left your card is what the crypto cost you, including whatever margin was built into the rate.
Buying sets the cost, it is not itself taxable
No liability arises from the purchase. It fixes the number your eventual disposal is measured against.
The destination address ties it to your wallet
Because the receipt names where the crypto went, it can be matched to the wallet that received it, which closes the gap between the two records.
Lecture seule par conception.
- A file upload is read-only. Nothing connects to your account
- Kryptos never asks for your password or login details
- Delete an import at any time and its data goes with it
- Keep the original file: it is your evidence if anyone asks later
Si la synchronisation échoue.
There is no history page to export. The record is the confirmation email sent after each purchase.
Simplex usually operates inside another exchange or wallet, so you may have used it without seeing the brand.
Your wallet shows the arrival but not the payment. The email has the fiat side.
