Blockchain.com is three products sharing one name, and that is the whole difficulty. There is the wallet where you hold your own keys, the trading account inside the same app where buys and staking live, and the exchange, which is a separate order book with its own login.
Each keeps its own history and each exports separately. The trading account export says so explicitly: it covers the trading account only. The wallet export is per currency and only works on the web, not in the app.
So a complete picture is usually several files plus a connection to the exchange. Connect one and the report will be missing whichever parts you did not.
What you get out of the box

On the exchange
- Log in and open the API section of your settings.
- Create a key. A name is the only thing required, and keys are read-only unless you switch trading access on, so leave it off.
- You can restrict the key to your own network address while you are there.
- Verify the key by email. It will not work until you do, and this is the step people miss before reporting the key as broken.
- Store the secret when it appears. It is shown once.
On Kryptos
- Go to Kryptos.io and sign up with your Google account.
- From the menu, click Integrations.
- Click Add Integration and search for Blockchain.com.
- Choose Import using API Keys, paste your key and secret, then click Import Your Transactions.
- To pull a specific date range instead of everything, open Advanced Options before importing.
Good to know
- The trading account export covers the trading account only, not your wallet.
- The wallet export is per currency and is only available in the web wallet, not the mobile app.
- Wallet exports contain on-chain transactions only, so anything the app shows that never touched a blockchain will not be in them.
- Staking rewards are paid daily into a separate rewards balance and compound, so a year of staking one asset is hundreds of rows.
- Moving funds between your own wallet and trading account is a transfer, but it appears as a withdrawal in one file and a deposit in another.
One brand, three separate histories
Most exchanges have one account and one history. Blockchain.com has three, and they do not know about each other.
Your non-custodial wallet holds your own keys, so its history is whatever happened on the blockchain. The trading account inside the same app is a hosted balance where buying, selling and staking happen. The exchange is a different venue entirely with its own login and its own order book.
Export one and you get one third of the story, with the transfers between them dangling: a withdrawal that goes nowhere, a deposit that came from nowhere. Pull all three, and the movements between them resolve into the transfers they were. Staking pays every day and compounds into the balance. Each payment is income at that day's value, which is a lot of small events and the main reason this platform produces so many rows.
Self-transfers that stop looking like sales
Moving crypto from your trading account to your own wallet is not a disposal. With only one side connected it looks like one.

Staking rewards are daily income
Rewards are paid every day into a separate rewards balance and compound into the principal. Each one is income at that day's value, and each also becomes part of what you later dispose of.
Wallet to trading account is not a sale
Both sides are yours, so moving between them is a transfer. Export both or the movement reads as a disposal on one side and free money on the other.
Margin adds costs the wallet never sees
Exchange margin trading generates financing charges and can end in liquidation. Neither exists on the wallet side, and both matter to your figures.
On-chain only means on-chain only
The wallet export contains blockchain transactions. Anything that happened inside the app without touching a chain will not appear there and has to come from the other exports.

- A read-only key can see your history but can't move funds
- Kryptos never asks for your password or login details
- Revoke the key on the exchange at any time and the connection stops
