0G is a network built for artificial intelligence workloads, with storage and compute alongside the usual chain. For everyday use it behaves like any Ethereum-style network.
Your address starts with 0x and fees are paid in the network's own token, also called 0G.
If you ran a node during the test phase, your allocation was released in stages rather than all at once, and each stage is a separate event.
What you get out of the box
Choisissez votre méthode d'import.
On 0G
- Open your wallet and copy your address. It starts with 0x.
- If you staked through the network's own tools rather than through an app, that same account also has a second address format. It is the same account either way.
On Kryptos
- Go to Kryptos.io and sign up with your Google account.
- From the menu, click Integrations.
- Click Add Integration and search for 0G.
- Click the 0G icon, then choose Import using Address.
- Give the wallet a name, paste your address, and click Import Your Transactions.
Good to know
- Staking rewards are claimed rather than compounded, so nothing arrives until you collect it.
- Node operators from the test phase received part of their allocation at launch and the rest across three years.
- The chain also charges for storage and compute, which are service costs rather than trades.
An allocation that arrives over three years
Most launch distributions hand you tokens once. 0G split part of its allocation for people who ran nodes during the test phase, and the shape of that split matters for your return.
A third arrived at launch. The remaining two thirds are released gradually across three years. So a single entitlement becomes a long series of receipts, each landing on its own date at whatever the price was that day.
Working from the total, valued at the launch price, gets both halves of the calculation wrong. It overstates or understates the income depending on which way the price moved, and it attaches the wrong cost to tokens you have not sold yet, which shows up again as a wrong gain later.
The right approach is one entry per tranche. It is tedious by hand across three years and straightforward to read off the chain. For how vesting and airdrop income are treated where you file, see the USA crypto tax guide or the UK crypto tax guide.

Recording an allocation released in stages
Node operators received a third at launch and the rest spread over three years. Each release is its own acquisition at its own price.
Claiming staking rewards
Rewards accrue outside your balance and stay there until you claim. The claim date is when you received them.
Paying for storage and compute
Using the network's storage or compute spends tokens on a service. That is a disposal, but it buys something rather than trading for another asset.

Une fois vos wallets et plateformes connectés, générer un rapport fiscal ne prend qu'un clic. Ouvrez Rapports dans le menu, choisissez votre juridiction et téléchargez.
Each vesting tranche is its own acquisition
An allocation released across three years is not one receipt. Every tranche arrives on its own date at its own price, and each carries that price as its cost.
Staking rewards are income when claimed
Rewards here do not compound on their own. They sit unclaimed until you collect them, so the claim date sets the value.
Service payments are still disposals
Spending tokens on storage or compute disposes of them. You received a service rather than another asset, so there is no acquisition on the other side.
One account can appear in two address formats
Staking through the network's own tooling uses a different notation for the same account. Importing both as separate wallets would double your position.
Lecture seule par conception.
- Kryptos only ever needs your public wallet address
- A public address is read-only. It can't move or spend anything
- We never ask for your recovery phrase or private key
- Remove a wallet whenever you like, and its data goes with it
Si la synchronisation échoue.
They accrue outside your balance until you claim them. Send a claim and they arrive.
Use the date each tranche arrived rather than the launch date. Tranches released later are priced when they were released.
The same account has an Ethereum-style form and another used for staking. Add it once.
