Xai is a gaming network built on Arbitrum. Your address starts with 0x and gas is paid in XAI.
If you run a node, the licence that entitles you to rewards is not held on Xai at all. It lives on Arbitrum, so pasting a Xai address will never show it.
Rewards themselves arrive very frequently and in an escrowed form that has to be converted before you can use it freely.
What you get out of the box
Elige tu método de importación.
On Xai
- Open your wallet and copy your address. It starts with 0x.
- If you hold a node licence, add your Arbitrum wallet too. The licence is held there, not here.
On Kryptos
- Go to Kryptos.io and sign up with your Google account.
- From the menu, click Integrations.
- Click Add Integration and search for Xai.
- Click the Xai icon, then choose Import using Address.
- Give the wallet a name, paste your address, and click Import Your Transactions.
Good to know
- Node licences are held on Arbitrum, so a Xai-only import will not find them.
- Rewards are paid in an escrowed form of XAI rather than in XAI you can spend immediately.
- Reward opportunities come round roughly every hour, so an active node produces a very large number of small receipts.
The asset earning your income is on another chain
Xai's node system produces a reporting problem that catches people out, because the thing generating your income is not where you would look for it.
To earn, you hold a node licence. That licence is a collectible token, and it lives on Arbitrum, not on Xai. So someone importing their Xai address sees rewards arriving from nowhere, with no visible asset producing them and no purchase to explain the cost. The licence they paid for is sitting on a different chain entirely.
The rewards themselves are unusual too. Opportunities open roughly every hour and participation is probabilistic, so you do not earn a steady amount. You earn a share whenever you are selected, which means a year of running a node produces thousands of small, irregular receipts.
And what arrives is not XAI you can spend. It is an escrowed form, usable for staking and governance but requiring a conversion before it becomes ordinary XAI. That conversion is a separate step, and taking it faster can cost you part of the amount.
So a complete picture needs both wallets: Arbitrum for the licence, Xai for the rewards. For how income and capital costs are treated where you file, see the USA crypto tax guide or the UK crypto tax guide.

Running a node
Rewards come from taking part in challenges that open roughly hourly, so a year of operation produces thousands of small receipts rather than a handful.
Finding a licence that is not on this chain
The licence is held on Arbitrum. Import that wallet or the asset producing your income will be invisible.
Converting escrowed rewards
Escrowed XAI has to go through a conversion before it becomes ordinary XAI, and that is a second step after the receipt.

Rewards arrive escrowed, not liquid
What you receive is an escrowed form of XAI, usable for staking but not freely spendable. When that counts as received, and at what value, is worth thinking about rather than assuming it equals the XAI price.
Conversion is a separate step
Turning escrowed XAI into ordinary XAI runs through a redemption process. That is a second event after the original receipt, and depending on how you take it there can be a cost.
The licence is a capital cost, not an expense
Buying a node licence acquires an asset held on Arbitrum. It is not consumed by earning, and selling it later is its own disposal.
Expect a very high number of receipts
Reward opportunities come round roughly every hour. Across a year that is thousands of small income events, which is not practical to reconstruct by hand.
There is almost no DeFi here
Across every application on the chain the total is a few thousand dollars. If you are looking for liquidity positions, you almost certainly have none.

- Kryptos only ever needs your public wallet address
- A public address is read-only. It can't move or spend anything
- We never ask for your recovery phrase or private key
- Remove a wallet whenever you like, and its data goes with it

It is held on Arbitrum rather than on Xai. Add your Arbitrum wallet.
They arrive in an escrowed form. Converting them into ordinary XAI is a separate step.
That is expected for a node operator. Reward opportunities come round roughly hourly.
