Robinhood Wallet is a separate app from the Robinhood you trade in, and it works on a completely different basis. Here you hold the keys, and the activity happens on public blockchains rather than on Robinhood's books.
That distinction is the whole point of this page. The tax forms Robinhood sends you do not cover this wallet. Those come from the brokerage and crypto businesses. Anything you did in the self-custody wallet is yours to report, and there is no form summarising it.
It covers nine networks, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Dogecoin and several Ethereum-style layers, so one wallet means several addresses.
What you get out of the box

On Robinhood Wallet
- Open the wallet app, which is separate from the main Robinhood app.
- Copy your Ethereum-style address. One covers Ethereum, Arbitrum, Polygon, Optimism and Base.
- Copy the Solana address separately.
- For Bitcoin and Dogecoin, use the extended key rather than a single address. Those wallets spread activity across many addresses.
- Connect your Robinhood Crypto account separately. It is a different product and neither covers the other.
On Kryptos
- Go to Kryptos.io and sign up with your Google account.
- From the menu, click Integrations.
- Click Add Integration and search for Robinhood Wallet.
- Click the Robinhood Wallet icon, then choose Import using Address.
- Give the wallet a name, paste your address, and click Import Your Transactions.
Good to know
- This wallet is a different app and a different legal entity from Robinhood Crypto. Robinhood does not hold your keys here.
- The tax forms Robinhood issues cover the brokerage and crypto accounts, not this wallet.
- Bitcoin and Dogecoin need an extended key, not one address, because they use many addresses per wallet.
- One address covers all the Ethereum-style networks, but Solana, Bitcoin and Dogecoin each need their own.
Two Robinhoods, and only one sends you a form
Robinhood runs a brokerage where you buy and sell, and separately a self-custody wallet where you hold your own keys. They are different apps, run by different legal entities, and they behave differently at tax time.
The brokerage side reports to the tax authority and sends you forms. The wallet cannot, because Robinhood is not a party to what you do with it. Your swaps, the apps you connected to, the coins you moved: all of that is on public blockchains under your own keys, and no form will summarise it.

The activity no form covers
Robinhood reports your brokerage and crypto trading to the tax authority. Self-custody wallet activity is not in that, and nothing will flag the gap.

Moving crypto from your Robinhood account into the wallet is your own money moving. Both sides connected, it reads that way.

Your 1099 does not include this wallet
The forms cover the brokerage and crypto accounts. Everything in the self-custody wallet is on public blockchains and is yours to report, with no summary document to lean on.
Moving between them is not a sale
Sending crypto from your Robinhood account to the wallet keeps it yours. It is a transfer, and it only reads as a disposal if one side is missing.
Swaps in the wallet are disposals
An in-wallet swap is the same event as a trade anywhere else, including when it moves you between networks.
Change addresses are not payments
Bitcoin and Dogecoin send leftovers back to new addresses your own wallet controls. The extended key recognises those as yours instead of counting them as spending.
