This is Binance's self-custody wallet and the app browser that goes with it, not an exchange product. Your keys are held for you in pieces rather than by Binance outright, and what you do with it happens on chains rather than in an account.
So you connect an address here, the same as any other wallet, rather than linking an account.
The most important thing to get right is the relationship between this wallet and your Binance exchange account, because moving funds between them is not a sale.
What you get out of the box
Elige tu método de importación.
In the Binance Web3 Wallet
- Open the wallet and copy your address for each chain you have used.
- Add your Binance exchange account as well. Transfers between the two need both sides to pair up.
On Kryptos
- Go to Kryptos.io and sign up with your Google account.
- From the menu, click Integrations.
- Click Add Integration and search for Binance Web3 Wallet.
- Click the Binance Web3 Wallet icon, then choose Import using Address.
- Give the wallet a name, paste your address, and click Import Your Transactions.
Good to know
- This is a wallet, so you add an address rather than connecting an account with a key.
- Moving funds between your Binance account and this wallet is a transfer between things you own, not a trade.
- It covers many chains, so you may have several addresses to add.
The transfer that must not look like a sale
This wallet sits right next to a Binance exchange account, and people move funds between the two constantly. That convenience creates the single most expensive mistake available here.
When you send crypto from your Binance account to this wallet, nothing has been sold. You owned it before and you own it after; it moved from one place you control to another. Tax authorities are clear that moving assets between addresses you beneficially control is not a disposal.
The problem is what it looks like to a tool that can only see one side. From the exchange, crypto left and did not come back, which reads as a sale. From the wallet, crypto arrived from nowhere with no purchase behind it, which reads as an acquisition at zero cost. Get both halves wrong and you have invented a taxable gain on the way out and set yourself up for a second, larger one whenever you eventually sell.
The fix is to import both. With the exchange account and the wallet addresses present, the two legs match, the transfer is recognised for what it was, and your original purchase price follows the coins across.
One practical note: this wallet works across a lot of different chains, so a single user often has several addresses. Each needs adding, or that chain's activity is absent entirely. For how transfers between your own wallets are treated, see the USA crypto tax guide or the UK crypto tax guide.

Moving funds out of the exchange to use on chain
Sending crypto from your Binance account to this wallet moves your own assets. Nothing was sold, and importing both sides keeps it that way.
Swapping inside the wallet
A swap disposes of one token and acquires another, the same as anywhere else.
Collecting rewards from apps
Rewards earned through apps you reached from the wallet are income at the value received.

Una vez conectadas tus wallets y exchanges, generar un reporte fiscal es cuestión de un clic. Abre Reportes desde el menú, elige tu jurisdicción y descarga.
Exchange to wallet is not a disposal
Both are controlled by you, so moving between them changes nothing about what you own. This matters because it is easy to get wrong in a way that invents gains on both sides: a sale leaving the exchange and a zero-cost acquisition arriving in the wallet.
Swaps in the wallet are disposals
Exchanging tokens through the wallet's own swap is a sale of the first token, priced that day.
Rewards are income when received
Staking, farming and similar rewards are receipts at the value on the day they became yours, and that value becomes their cost.
You may have several addresses
The wallet works across many chains. Each address needs adding or that chain's history is missing.
Solo lectura por diseño.
- Kryptos only ever needs your public wallet address
- A public address is read-only. It can't move or spend anything
- We never ask for your recovery phrase or private key
- Remove a wallet whenever you like, and its data goes with it
Si algo no sincroniza.
There would not be. It is a wallet rather than an exchange account, so you connect an address instead.
Add your Binance exchange account too. With only one side present there is nothing for the transfer to pair with.
The wallet spans several chains. Check that you have added your address for each one you used.
