Paymont is a Lithuanian electronic money institution providing payment accounts, European bank details and currency exchange to businesses and individuals.
Its own site describes no cryptocurrency services at all. Some third-party directories say otherwise, but that claim does not appear anywhere in Paymont's own material.
Treat it as a place ordinary money lives, which contributes evidence rather than transactions.
What you get out of the box
So importierst du.
Where your records really are
- Import the exchange or service where any crypto activity happened.
- Use your Paymont statement as evidence of money transferred.
On Kryptos
- Log in to Kryptos.
- Go to Integrations.
- Click Add Integration, then search for and select Paymont.
- Click the Paymont icon and choose Upload CSV.
- Upload the file. Kryptos reads it and categorises the transactions for you.
Good to know
- Paymont's own site describes no crypto products.
- The live site is at paymont.eu. A similarly named address does not host a working site.
- Moving your own money is not a taxable event.
What the company says, and what directories say
There is a small but instructive disagreement about this company that is worth knowing before you rely on anything you read.
Paymont's own site describes payment accounts, European bank details, transfers and currency exchange. It does not mention cryptocurrency anywhere. We checked.
Some third-party financial directories say it supports crypto businesses and facilitates transfers to and from crypto platforms. That sentence appears almost word for word on those same directories' pages for other, unrelated payment institutions, which suggests it is boilerplate applied across a category rather than a researched fact about this company.
When a company's own material and a directory disagree, the company is the better source, and we have gone with that here. If you need to know whether a specific transfer is possible, ask them rather than a directory.
For a crypto tax return, the practical position is the same as any payments account. Moving your own money is not a taxable event. The statements are useful as evidence of what you paid when a crypto platform's own records are thin. For how cost basis works where you file, see the USA crypto tax guide or the UK crypto tax guide.

Evidencing a transfer
The statement shows what you sent and when, which supports a deposit recorded elsewhere.
Establishing cost where a platform kept poor records
The amount that left your account is what a purchase cost you.
Separating currency movement from crypto activity
Money moving between your own accounts is not a crypto event.

Transfers of your own money are not disposals
Nothing is acquired or disposed of by moving cash between accounts you control.
Statements support a cost figure
Where a crypto platform's record is incomplete, the debit on your statement evidences what you paid.
Do not rely on third-party claims about crypto support
Directories describe crypto services that Paymont's own site does not mention. Where a company and a directory disagree, the company's own material is the better source.

Nothing in Paymont's own material describes crypto products.
