We offer a non-paywall experience through our Freemium plans, allowing users to import accounts, and review gains, and tax liabilities before committing to a purchase for detailed tax reports. This approach aids in making informed decisions.

To request a refund, please ensure you meet the following criteria:

  • Initial Refund Period: Request a refund within "7 days" from your purchase date.
  • Service Usage Limitation: Refunds are considered only if:
    Tax reports have not been downloaded and
    If service issues or bugs are not resolved promptly by us in a reasonable time

If you encounter issues with APIs or auto-sync functionalities, downloading CSV files from your exchange and uploading them to our platform is a practical alternative. Although we are continuously working to update and improve our integrations, challenges arising from these external changes are not considered valid reasons for a refund. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we navigate these complexities together.

    Warnings related to Missing Prices or Purchase History
    - Encountering warnings about missing information can be a prompt for action on your part. These alerts often indicate gaps in the transaction data that need your attention. We strongly encourage you to use the testing period to familiarize yourself with how our platform identifies and handles incomplete data. This proactive approach allows you to understand the level of detail required for accurate tax reporting. While our team is here to offer support and guidance on resolving these issues, refunds cannot be issued for challenges related to missing information that could have been identified and addressed during the testing phase.     Unable to use Manual imports for non-supported integrations -
    Our platform is designed to be as inclusive as possible of various exchanges and services. If you find that we don't currently support a specific service you use, we invite you to test our manual import feature during the initial phase before purchasing. Your feedback helps us prioritize new integrations based on user demand and our resource bandwidth. While we understand that manual imports may require additional effort, they serve as a temporary solution until we can offer direct support. The necessity for manual imports due to the current lack of integration is not a basis for a refund, but we are committed to assisting you through the process and expanding our services based on user needs.

    Change of mind/Want to hire an accountant -
    Deciding to manage your cryptocurrency taxes with our platform is a choice we greatly appreciate and support. If you're considering our services, we encourage you to explore what we offer during the testing phase to ensure it aligns with your expectations and needs. Should you find the process overwhelming or decide to seek professional accounting assistance, we offer additional support services to help bridge the gap. However, choosing to move in a different direction after purchase, whether due to a change of heart or opting for an accountant, does not qualify for a refund. We aim to provide as much support as possible to ensure you can leverage our platform effectively, regardless of your level of expertise.

In each of these scenarios, our goal is to offer clarity and support, ensuring you have the opportunity to thoroughly test our platform and understand its capabilities before making a purchase. This approach is designed to minimize misunderstandings and set realistic expectations from the start, fostering a positive and productive experience with our services.

3. User Data Responsibility

  1. Kryptos provides a software tool to assist with crypto tax reporting. It's the user's responsibility to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all data entered into the software.

4. Personalized Service

  1. If a user purchases a personalized service, the scope will be limited to the agreed-upon hours of consultation support. Any additional services outside of this scope may be subject to additional charges.

5. Freemium Package

  1. The Freemium package is offered at no cost. As it is complimentary, refunds are not applicable.

6. Processing Refunds

  1. Refunds are returned to the original payment method.
  2. A fee equivalent to payment processor fees is deducted for transaction costs during refunds.
  3. Refunds typically process and appear in accounts within in 5-10 business days.

7. Cancellation and Data Retention

9. Additional Fees for New Integrations:

Implementing new integrations or features may be subject to additional fees. Users will be informed of any additional costs upfront. Refunds will not be issued on these custom integration requests.

Furthermore, Kryptos shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses (even if Kryptos has been advised of the possibility of such damages) arising out of or in connection with the use or inability to use our software.
