2. On the top right corner, look for the Profile Icon & select it. 
3. In the drop-down menu, look for API Management.
4. Now select Create API Key.
5. Under API Key Remark, you can name the API Key anything you would like.
6. Under IP Permissions, you can choose to bind IP addresses for an added layer of security or skip the step by selecting Later.
7. Select API v4 Key & under Account type select Classic Account.
8. Under Permissions, select all the relevant types of transactions to calculate taxes for & select Read Only for all.
9. Accept all the Risk Reminders & put in your 2-Factor Authentication.
10. Copy the API Key & the API Secret, and save them somewhere.

1. Go to kryptos.io & signup using your Google account.
2. From the menu, click on Add Wallets/Exchanges. Go to the Wallets/Exchanges page.
3. Search for Gate.io or select it from the list below.
4. Now, click on the Gate.io icon.
5. Choose Import using API Keys.
6. Paste your API Key & API Secret.
7. Click on Import Your Transactions. All transactions are directly imported and tagged by default.
8. If you wish to import custom history, select Advanced Options. Now you can specify the start and end date of your transaction history.

How To Connect Gate.io With Kryptos Using CSV

On Gate.io :

1. Log in to your Gate.io account.
2. Scroll to the Wallet menu on the top right and in the drop-down menu,

4. Select your time frame.
5. Click on the Download icon on the top right.
6. You will find the CSV file in your Downloads folder by default.

On Kryptos :

1. Go to kryptos.io & signup using your Google account.

How are Gate.io transactions taxed?

The crypto tax laws may vary depending on the country you reside in and other factors such as your filing status, income bracket, and marital status. But, in general, there are mainly two types of taxes applicable to Gate.io transactions.
