Connect Backpack with Kryptos
Backpack Exchange is a cryptocurrency exchange focused on providing secure and low-fee trading, particularly leveraging the Solana blockchain. It offers a user-friendly platform for trading popular digital assets and integrates with the Backpack wallet for seamless asset management. Backpack emphasizes fast transaction processing and is accessible to both retail and institutional traders.
With Kryptos, you can easily track your Backpack portfolio in real-time and gain insights into your holdings. Simply connect your Backpack account to Kryptos (see instructions below). Kryptos consolidates your transactions, provides a comprehensive view of your assets, and keeps your tax reporting ready in the background.
On Backpack
- Log in on Backpack Exchange and click on the Settings icon.
- Select API Keys from the menu on the top
- Click on New API key, name it anything, and select Read only at the bottom.
- Click on Create & enter your 2FA.
On Kryptos
- Sign up on Kryptos.io using your Google account.
- Go to Integrations, click on Add Integration, and select Backpack.
- Choose Import using API Keys, paste your API Key & Secret, and click on Import Your Transactions.
On Backpack
- Log in and click on the Wallet icon on the top right.
- For every tab, such as Deposits, Withdrawals, and Trades, click on Export.
- This will automatically download all the transaction history.
- Upload the downloaded files on Kryptos.
On Kryptos
- Sign up on Kryptos.io using your Google account.
- Go to Integrations, select Backpack, and choose Upload CSV.
- Upload the downloaded files and click on Import Your Transactions.
On Kryptos
- Go to Integrations, click Add Integration, and select Add Custom Wallet.
- Name and create your wallet, then click on the wallet icon.
- Select Import File, download the Kryptos Sample File, and fill it with your transaction data.
- Upload the completed file and click Import Transactions to sync.

- Capital Gains Tax: Profits from selling or disposing of crypto assets, such as Bitcoin or Ethereum, are typically subject to capital gains tax.
